I’ve been practicing yoga for more than 20 years, and hilariously the first class I went to, I didn’t enjoy it! Despite this, something drew me back, and it wasn’t long before I had fallen in love with yoga.
After 23 years of being a full-time mummy I decided it was time to do something for myself – yoga was such a strong passion of mine that training to teach seemed like the obvious thing to do, and just when I thought I couldn’t fall any deeper in love with it, I did just that.
I discovered that teaching makes me happy, it makes my heart shine, and enables me to help the hearts of others to shine too.
Roald Dahl once said, “if you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely”, and yoga, whether it’s through the breath work, the meditation or the asana, can help you find those good thoughts – trust me!
My students would agree that connection is a fundamental part of my style of teaching; I love bringing all the sensations together through sight, sound, smell, touch, and even taste through my raw chocolates made with DoTerra oils!
